On Saturday, June 3, 2017, for the eighth consecutive year, the Sage Port HOA worked with the Coalition for the Upper South Platte (CUSP) and brought chipping services to area property owners. Multiple properties in Sage Port and the surrounding area participated in the event. The chipping service was reasonably-priced for non-SPHOA members, and was free for SPHOA members. A delicious hot lunch and cold beverages were provided to participants and volunteers at the home of Larry and Mary Horwitz.
Thanks to Larry Horwitz for coordinating the chipping event, and to all participants and volunteers for making the 2017 Sage Port Chipping Day a success.
Wildfire mitigation efforts such as these make our community safer.
